Tell-All Thursdays: Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue

Superstitious or not, almost every bride feels the need to follow the tradition of wearing or carrying something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue on her wedding day. But if you don’t have a pair of your grandmother’s pearls to borrow or your mom’s blue-laced handkerchief to carry, then what do you do?

Well, I can answer that! There is this fabulous website – Bag, Borrow, Or Steal – and it is here to save your day! This site provides “an online borrowing experience that provides just the right something for everyone.” And not only can you borrow high-end, celebrity inspired handbags and jewelry from this site, but you can also purchase some perfect pieces!

Looking for the perfect pocketbook to complete your fairytale dress? For only $32/week or $95/month, you can rent this elegant, pearlized-python Carlos Falchi clutch! Now, that’s a steal!

Need a bag with more bling? That’s easy! Check out this couture clutch by Judith Leiber! How gorgeous is that for only $100/week?

Or maybe you’re looking for jewels! Not a problem. This ring is 18k gold, has a blue quartz and pavé diamonds and is borrow-able (I know that’s not a word! I am just so darn excited for you)! For $135/week, you can rock this rock!

Looking for something vintage-inspired? Rent this House of Taylor bracelet for some added glitz and glamour! It’s only $195/week. What’s the total diamond weight, you ask? A whopping 16.4 carats! Yep, I’d say under $200 is a steal!

Why should celebrities be the only ones to borrow jewels for their events? You deserve to be just as beautifully decked out in real gems when you walk down the aisle as they are when they walk down the red carpet! This is your moment to shine and this site is your opportunity to do so at an insanely low price!

Real Wedding: Romance in the Garden, Part 2

Ceremony & Reception Venue:  Epting Event’s Venue – The Hill in Athens, GA

Caterers:  Epting Events

Photographer:  Melissa Prosser

Stationary:  Jessica Wilcox of ModernMoments

Entertainment:  Lethal Rhythms Entertainment, DJ Chris Watson

Our couple’s wedding was super sweet and sentimental, but it was so much more than just that!

They are huge music people so it was very important for them to center their reception around some rockin’ tunes! Even their reception stationary, by the very talented Jessica Wilcox of ModernMoments included a retro turntable and lyrics to some of their favorite songs. DJ Chris Watson had the crowd dancing all night long with popular songs from the 70s to today.  Check out these great shots taken by fab photog Melissa Prosser!

Mandy and Craig’s magical day ended with a short, romantic walk through their guests who lit the way with sparklers to a vintage 1920s getaway car. The couple jumped in and drove off in style, celebrating day 1’s end to a new beginning. If this isn’t a modern, nature-themed Cinderella romance, I don’t know what is!

We wish Mandy and Craig all the best in their new life together as Mr. and Mrs. Thornton!

Just a Small Token of Appreciation…

From the moment we meet with you until the day of your event, our goal is learn about YOU; to know what it is that you are dreaming of, looking for and expecting. For over a decade, Joel Rabe, CEO and President of Lethal Rhythms, has built hundreds of thousands of relationships with his clients – YOU – in order to flawlessly design your event around your style, your vision and your taste.

And here are just a few great things our most satisfied customers are saying:

“We had so much fun at our daughter Erin’s wedding 3 ½ years ago that when our other daughter got engaged last month, we knew who we wanted to use as our DJ. Everyone had a great time! I can’t tell you how many people still tell us how much fun they had at the reception. You were really good about getting everyone up and out of their chairs and things ran so smoothly. We are looking forward to another awesome time in March!”

“Thanks again for being the DJ at our wedding! You did an incredible job!! I know everyone enjoyed the couples dance and seeing Duane crawl across the floor for my garter! J We were so glad to have you as part of our special day.”

“We wanted to thank you SO much for such an awesome day. You really made it special for us and we appreciate it!!! We also really appreciate the pictures- they’re great! We know it was a super hot day and it really meant a lot to us that you got there extra early to set-up and make the ceremony and reception perfect! Thanks again for everything- we will definitely tell all our friends about you and Lethal Rhythms! Woo hoo!”

How can we not love what we do?  We are passionate about events and entertaining and it sure does show!  Most importantly, we are grateful for having been chosen by YOU to be such a huge part of your day!  So, to this we say Thank you very much!
